KJFK2 is not recognizing P3D 2,5

I recently purchased P3D version 2.5.12944.0

I already have FSX installed.

I started installing my FSDT purchased products, starting with KJFK 2.

I found that the installation is only targeting FSX folder without giving any option to select which flight sim.

I have FSX to P3D migration tool but it is disabled.

I searched the forums for such problem but all the earlier posts were referring to an earlier versions of P3D.

Am I missing any step that needs to be done?

I forgot to say that I already installed KJFK2.1 update too. but no success

Updating to my post. I have BOTH the "Addon Manager" AND the Couatl menus in P3D, the Add on Manager reports the scenery as being Active but not installed.

I tried to install LSGG and KORD but with same results.

I managed to solve the problem. I re-downloaded all software and they managed to identified P3D.

To anyone else reading this post: the problem was likely because the user tried to install under P3D 2.5 using an older version of the installer. The installers that are on the site now, supports all version of the sim.
