Jet Bridge
« on: March 04, 2015, 08:29:05 am »
I have the PMDG 777-200 parked at gate 54. When I attach the jet bridge, it catches a small piece of the left engine, then jumps in the air to clear it. It attaches to exit 2L and then settles to the ground. Here's a screenshot:

I wasn't sure if this was a heavy gate. I checked a satellite image of the airport, and this gate appeared to have a 777 parked. I'm thinking that perhaps I got it wrong and this is a medium or small gate. Can you help me out?

Thanks,
Graham

As explained other times on the forum, we have no control on the animations of the jetways, we only make a model, but it's FSX that animates them, trying to reach the airplane door.

FSX doesn't check if the path he chose for the jetway animation would eventually collide with any parts of the airplane model itself so, basically, there's nothing we can do from our side to fix this.

Thanks for the reply. Looking at the parking slot, does it look correct for a 777? Just want your advice.
