sound in P3D
« on: March 23, 2015, 10:13:07 am »
I find the sound in P3D as deafeningly loud!, I try to lower the volume but it seems only to get louder?!

Any help or advice? Never had this in FSX

ok so renaming it might solve it, but it doesn't cure the problem, others still have this issue during wing views

I found a XAI version of the same sound so I will try and see if that cures the external/wing views sound

they both sound like a jackhammer / Generator or a helicopter to me.
it happens only once I administrate the airport tow truck.
I reduced it's sound by editing the WAV file themselves (reduced the amplifier) to have a softer quieter sound.
that way you can still hear it from the cockpit , but very softly as you would hear it in real life.
I will search for airport tow truck on youtube and capture the sound of it both from the cockpit and outside of the cockpit and create two replacement files.
that way it will be realistic.
