Or, it triggered some kind of low-level driver updates that happened only now.
As already explained in the forum, we don't do any hardware detection at all, and we don't even know what's triggering an hardware detection. The Esellerate library does that, and it asks Windows about hardware changes. Windows asks about your drivers about hardware changes and your drivers usually interact with the BIOS so, in turn, the only possible explanation, is that a driver decided to report a different hardware id to Windows, for some reason.
