There will NEVER be a 64-bit flight simulator that is compatible to FSX. That is why P3D is still 32bit to provide compatibility to FSX sceneries.

I don't think a 64 bit flight simulator would cause too much problems with sceneries. The biggest issues will probably be gauges code and 3rd party modules code.

A 64bit flight simulator would mean a complete new product made from scratch without a chance of having FSX sceneries work in there. Xplane would be such a flight simulator as it has its own format of sceneries.

I didn't had any news of a possible 64 bit sim, like P3D V4, and V3 was released in 2015.
