GSX reg file
« on: June 04, 2014, 04:29:06 pm »
Hi All

First I have to say what a fantastic bit of software has been created.  I have a question.  I have XP installed at the moment and will be getting Win7 asap.  I have been hit by a virus twice and of course GSX has been reinstalled.  What I would like to know is if I have a saved reg file from my XP install, can I use this if I install win7 and GSX again or do I have to re register.

A bloody pain with these idiots attacking an unsupported operating system.  Thanks in advance.

Steve

The .REG file, which has been saved in your "Home" folder ( the folder with your name ), is just a shortcut to save you from *manually* typing your Serial Number so, it's not really a problem if you lose it or forget to back it up from one system to another.

The only consequence for this, is that you will have to type your Serial Number manually when reactivating on the new system.

Many Thanks virtuali

I have my reg file backed up. Nice to know I can use it on a new operating system.  I'm waiting for my win7 discs.

Cheers
