Problem with GSX and IVAP

When running the IVAO client for FSX, GSX won't work. The menus won't appear.

This has been discussed several times already: the problem is that IVAP uses by default the same Hotkey than GSX (CTRL+F12). You can change the hotkey used by GSX using the "Change key assignments" option under the "Couatl powered product" menu, and assigning any other key to GSX/YouControl

Ah, ok, I didn't realise it used ctrl + F12. What does this do?

Every function in GSX is started from that single hotkey, which is also used by IVAP, that's why they don't work together, unless you change the default GSX key (or change the default IVAP key, if this is possible)

I am having the same issue with the baggage loaders.  It doesn't make any difference what airplane, what airport, what external products are running, the baggage loaders don't show up.  I've tried uninstalling and re-installing and still no luck.  I've looked for a gsx.cfg file and am unable to find one. 

Anything I'm not thinking of.

Try to uninstall and reinstall using the full installer downloaded now.

I have this problem and I read the thread which seems to suggest that GSX and IvAP use the same hotkey (Cntl+F12). In my case, IvAP uses Cntl+F9 and GSX uses Cntl+F12 but once I load IvAP GSX stops working (or the hotkey Cntl+F12 stops working). I will try changing the GSX hotkey anyway to see if that works...

Do you have XPOI installed ( even in Trial ) ? That one uses CTRL+F9 too.

Hi,
Without any change, GSX still works for me with [Shift]+[Ctrl]+[F12], so avoiding any conflict with Ivap.
Only trying to help...
