GSX (and other products) installer error: must enter full path plus drive letter

So I just installed P3D to an SSD of its own. I mean once you open the SSD from My computer, bam all the core files of P3D are there. I've tried installing the add on manager, and GSX to P3D (It does detect P3D on that drive) but it gives an error during installation...

"You must enter a full path with drive letter; for example C:\APP"... etc.

What is causing this?

Most likely cause, your windows registry keys for P3D has been corrupted or is not valid anymore, maybe you used the P3D migration tool ?

Also, are you trying to install into the root of the drive ? That's a huge security hole, is really not a good idea, and many products will fail if the sim is installed into the root folder of a drive, such as C:\ or D:\

If you did that, uninstall the sim, and reinstall it into a normal folder, not on the root.

So all I need to do is reinstall into a folder inside my SSD? I'll give that a try and see if it works. =)
